Are you one of these?
You know, the kind of person who has to have certain brands for certain products? I definitely am. Don't get me wrong; I love to be frugal and get a good deal, but there are just some things you can't go cheap on.
For example, here's a couple:
Ketchup. For me, it has to be Heinz.
And tissues - why, oh why, did I ever think the Walmart brand would be as good as the Kleenex brand? For the record - they are not. And paying the .40 cents more is worth every extra penny.
What brands do you just have to have?
Tide detergent, Bounty paper towels, Kraft mayo, to name a few. Oh, I try other brands, including store and generic brands, but I always come back to these. Yes, I'm a brand snob.
ReplyDeleteWe will on get Press 'n Seal when it comes to plastic (saran) wrap. It works soooooooo much better than anything else. Also, we will only buy Huggies diapers (we don't even like Pampers) and we have to have good toilet paper!
ReplyDeleteTillamook Cheese only please!! We've tried cheaper and store brands but honestly, Tillamook is the best!! :) I'm sure there are others that I can't think of right now too.
ReplyDeleteWe are total brand snobs, but we're getting better about being more frugal. The main things we won't compromise on is Tillamook cheese, Marcus won't even eat anything else, Charmin toilet paper and puffs tissues, cling wrap, good bread (not store brand), and cleaning products.
