It's not too late.

Originally, I was wanting to follow along in making this advent calendar, but spare time hasn't been on my side this year, and I decided to just hold off and get it done by next Christmas season.

But I still wanted something so my daughter could countdown to Christmas. I remember once having a list of 24 Bible verses related to virtues and attributes of Christ, and I happened to find something similar (and better for children) online. It originally comes from The Friend. I've already printed it out and cut it up and am hoping to get it laminated this evening. I think what we'll do is add a piece every morning, and then at night read the scripture by candlelight (because my daughter loves candles right now) and talk about what we need to do the next day to try and be more like Jesus. I think it will be a great way to get the true Christmas spirit in our home and teach our children what this time of the year is really all about.

Since we're a day behind, we'll do two today. It's not too late to start a Christmas countdown if you want one too! I printed off my templates from here.
